Security issues with icloud.com mail

JCloud requires TLS encryption towards email providers that are known to support it. Icloud.com operated by Apple is one of those

Apple have incorrectly configured their MX DNS pointer with CNAMEs which is in violation of the requirement in the DNS standard. This causes TLS certificate error messages on our mail system.
Apple has been notified about the problem, but have not yet corrected the error
We have therefore disabled encryption in order for mail to get through.
This means that all mail you send to Apple icloud.com is not properly secured with encryption until Apple corrects their problem.
