Security issues with icloud.com mail resolved

JCloud requires TLS encryption towards email providers that are known to support it. Icloud.com operated by Apple is one of those

Apple incorrectly configured their MX DNS pointer with CNAMEs which is in violation of the requirement in the DNS standard. This caused TLS certificate error messages on our mail system. Encryption had to be disabled in order for mail to get through.
Apple has now solved this issue
The affected period with unsecure email communication was 2026-10-07 - 2026-10-29
